My work as a Consultant
I have found meaning and purpose in my professional work through the creative process of building educational programs, businesses, and institutions and serving the local community as a dedicated leader. I have been fortunate enough to have opportunities to develop my skills as a manager, administrator and entrepreneur, and have worked with several exceptional teams, teachers and students. I find that I am most helpful and productive when given the opportunity to step into a leadership role. The responsibility of leading a team, community organizing and championing a positive and inspirational vision is what truly ignites my passion for work.
I am as passionate about leadership, coaching, and mentoring as I am about environmental education and entrepreneurship. I truly believe that an organization is only as strong as it’s mentoring, coaching and PD programs. To build a successful organization, you have to build upward mobility into the business model and HR department in order to empower your employees. If you have built a strong mentoring and PD program into the fabric of your organization, then the team will work to make their colleagues better every day.
Safe Passage
As the founder of Las Manos de Christine, a non-profit 501c3, we joined Safe Passage’s effort to educate the children in and around the city dump in 2007, after the founder Hanely Denning was tragically killed in a car accident. As a consultant I led a team through a needs analysis process and designed a project proposal to meet the educational needs of the SP students and teachers. We developed an ESL program, recruited and hired staff, built a curriculum and raised the funds to launch a world class English language program for the Safe Passage students and teachers. As a consultant I have continued to supported the staff and administration in program development, teacher training, assessment, and reporting.
Garden of Hope
I met Claire Henkel through her work with the Education for the Children Foundation. She had a dream to build a garden for their students where these kids could learn in a safe, beautiful environment that helped them connect with our natural world. I mentored Claire and worked with her on the business plan, project charter & timeline, the financial & organizational structures, and helped her secure the investors for the land. As a consultant I helped Claire clarify her vision for the project and used my experience, contacts and knowledge bring her ideas into existence. The Garden of Hope is a unique and healthy project and place designed to give underprivileged children a safe place to learn and connect to their natural environment. The project has been an enormous success due to Claire’s vision and passion for environmental education.
Antigua Brewing Co.
I was hired as an Engagement Manager to help a group of investors build a brand and community centered brewpub that reflects the culture and values of the Antigua community. I guided them through their process to build a business plan, project charter & timeline, financial planning & budgets, and organizational structures. Then built the brand strategy, and managed the design, marketing and sales, and human resource team leaders. We have built a highly competitive social media presence and have been awarded the TripAdvisor ‘2020 Traveler’s Choice Award’, placing the brewery firmly in the top 10% of restaurants in Latin America.

Entrepreneur
As an entrepreneur I have built several successful brands of my own and as a consultant I have guided groups of entrepreneurs to successfully open their own businesses or non profit organizations.
Social Media
A successful company or NGO must build a brand presence on all major platforms.
I have managed several social media accounts and together have accrued:
10k+ followers on Instagram and 23k+ followers on Facebook
Mentoring
My expertise lies in building a business from the ground up. I have helped several entrepreneurs work through their ideas and develop a viable business plan, secure investments, form the legal entity and bring their ideas into reality.
Service
As an entrepreneur and leader, I believe I have an obligation to the community that has supported my professional success. I am an active member of my local and global community and believe in the power of individuals, businesses and organizations to make positive change.
